Important:
Normally, you will see four cam shots, one for each foaling stall.
When a mare goes into labor, I will switch the view to full on that
mare. Last year we had many wonderful people all over the world assisting us in our foal watch. If you happen to see a mare lie down in the “birthing position” (flat out with all 4 legs rigid) you are welcome to phone us at 281-373-0125 any hour of the day or night to alert us.

We have two foals due this year.

Feiner Fantasy ("Fancy") is a Hanoverian mare by
Feiner Stern and out of our beloved mare, Diende (Diamont/Darwin/Marconi).
She is in foal to the Elite Hanoverian stallion, Rubignon
(Rubinstein/Donnerhall/Pik Solo). This will be her first foal and
its birth will fulfill her requirements for becoming an Elite Mare
with the Hanoverian Society. The foal is due March 15, but
maidens can fool us, so we are on full watch at all times now.
Fancy had a gorgeous dark bay filly on
March 7! Photos on the New Foals Page.

Inkka is an Oldenburg mare that we bred a number of
years ago and sold as a three year old. She is by Ideal and out of
Winter Eclipse by Wallenstein. She is in foal to the Elite
Hanoverian stallion, Romancero, and her owner has brought her back home
to Sonesta Farms to give firth to this, her first foal. Due April 16,
this is another maiden, so the cam will be turned on to her no later
than April 1. We will either switch Fancy's cam to Inkka's stall
or, if Fancy has not yet foaled, we will add another camera.
Inkka had a big strong black (will likely turn
gray) colt on April 19. Photos on the New
Foals Page.
You can see photos and get more information about the
mares by visiting our "Breeding
Page."
