Mascarpone GF 16.2 hand fully approved RPSI Zweibrucken German
Warmblood Cremello Stallion |
Apollon 16.3 hand Knabstrupper stallion.
|
16.2
hand cremello Zweibrucken stallion approved RPSI.
MASCARPONE GF was registered in Germany with the Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar. He was fully approved as a warmblood breeding stallion with impressive scores. He was the ONLY cremello warmblood breeding stallion ever approved in Germany and his palomino and buckskin colored warmblood offspring command HUGE prices in Europe.
In MASCARPONE’s strong Hannoverian and Trakehner bloodlines, we find some of the top jumping and dressage blood of history. On the top of his pedigree he goes back to the famous line of the Trakehner stallion MARDUC, well known for siring horses of great rideability and dressage talent, and his grandsire MORGENGOLD I, was a top show jumping stallion in Ireland. Carefully line-bred through his dam’s side, he is double bred through PHILLIPO, who showed to the very top levels of dressage in Europe and goes back then twice to the legendary Hannoverian stallion WENDEKREIS. Also twice through the Hessian mare WEMBLEY, he goes to the incredible jumping sire FERDINAND. This outstanding blood is combined with the blood of the famous warmblood sires DOMSPRATZ and GRANDE, to complete the picture of a supreme pedigree.
His nobility was owed in large part to the strong Anglo-Arab influence in his pedigree, thus making him an almost perfect cross on the modern Arabian mare. Add to this impeccable warmblood pedigree MASCARPONE’s double dilute cream gene which guarantees that his offspring will all be either palomino or buckskin or smoky black, and you have a recipe for supremely competitive Half-Arabian offspring with a color that will promise to make your horse stand out from the crowd.
MASCARPONE GF died tragically in 2001. There are only 10 breeding doses of frozen semen from this exquisite and world famous stallion left in the world and they are highly sought in Europe. However, in partnership with MASCARPONE’s owner in Germany, we have obtained ALL of it – to be used exclusively for
American breeders. I especially recommend this stallion for Arabian sport horse
breeders! Only a few select mares will be permitted to use this semen. Contact us to see if your mare qualifies as one of the elite.

* Mascarpone GF will ALWAYS pass on one copy of the creme dilute gene, which will turn a chestnut base coat to palomino, a bay base coat to buckskin and a black base coat to smokey black. If the mare is gray, she carries either one or two copies of the gray gene and could pass that gray gene to her foal. A gray gene will turn ANY base coat to gray, covering up the palomino, buckskin or smokey black. For this reason, we will not provide a color guarantee to a gray mare.

16.3 hand Knabstrupper stallion.

From the website of Apollon's owner while in Germany:
"After passing his grading in Denmark APOLLON was originally used at stud there. After winning his stallion testing at Vilhelmsborg 1989 this stallion combined a stud duties with a highly successful competition career, winning not only Dressage and Showjumping to M level, but also M Eventing.
Because of his quality as stallion he was awarded the Gold Medal as best Knabstrupper stallion at the 1990 Danish Agriculture Fair (equivalent with the German DLG), a rare and distinguised achievement for any horse, let alone a spotted one.
In 1995 Apollon appeared on the German Scene and promptly won Premium graded status at the ZfDP grading in Lentföhrden.
[In 2001, the first registered Knabstrupper foals were born in North America.
Apollon was their sire and has become the foundation sire of the growing
Knabstrupper breed there.]
Just a glance at his pedigree shows that his ability and versatility didn`t happened by accident. His sire ZORRO is a Knabstrupper of the modern Sporthorse type and himself a descendant of the famous Arab stallion POMERANETS OX, who also sired the stallion Hockey II (sire of the international star Showjumper Almox Prints J). APOLLON's dam SYMFONI is superbly bred Trakehner mare by DONAUSCHIMMER, combining such illustrious lines as ABGLANZ and POET XX. A couple of generations back we find the highly rated GUNNAR and the great grandmother SONETT, who produced the famous Trakehner Hessenstein and via him influenced an entire generation of horses.
APOLLON himself has already sired twelve graded stallions and further proved his importance as a sire with several of his state-premium daughters.
Awarded ZfDP exceptional license Approval for Warmblood Breeding because of his outstanding record as a sire and in competition, APOLLON is currently the only leopard spotted stallion with this approval worldwide."
